Liquid cooling enthusiasts do not fret, Alphacool announced upcoming Core and Eisblock water blocks for the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. The Alphacool Core GPU water block has been redesigned to optimize cooling for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090. The redesign involved redefining distances between the water block and PCB components and simulating water flow with advanced software, followed by practical verification. These improvements enhance the water block’s base and nozzle, ensuring superior cooling performance for the new GPU generation.
Alphacool continues to rely on pure brass fittings in the Alphacool Core series to ensure the highest quality and safety. A Core emblem above the jetplate sets new visual standards. AlphacoolÂ’s water blocks use chrome plating on the copper cooler instead of nickel plating. Chrome plating is more durable and appears significantly brighter and smoother than pure nickel plating. A backplate is included with the Alphacool Core water blocks. The complete mounting material is also included, along with high-quality thermal paste and pre-cut thermal pads.
At launch, Alphacool RTX 50 Series water blocks will cover graphics card models from Palit, Gainward, INNO3D, ASUS, and MSI.
In addition to the Alphacool Core water blocks, Alphacool is also introducing an enterprise variant. The Alphacool ES RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 graphics card water blocks are 1-slot solutions. Their slim design allows users to cool graphics cards whose PCIe slots are right next to each other. The fittings are oriented towards the rear. This makes the Alphacool ES Geforce RTX 5080 and 5090 coolers ideal for use in server cases or workstations with two or more graphics cards.
