3DMark reveals the performance of the RX 9070 XT?

Our colleagues at Videocardz have relayed this information, revealing the performance of the AMD RX 9070 XT graphics card, which AMD did not announce at its conference. Be careful, as these results are unconfirmed, and of course the post containing these captures has been deleted. So what are we learning from our colleagues and from these various screenshots?

The presence of an open GPU-Z provides an initial indication of this AMD RX 9070 XT. The model, which comes from ASUS, has a base frequency of 2520 MHz and a boost to 3060 MHz! Personally, the difference between the base frequency and the boost seems (to us) very high. The memory is clocked at 2518 MHz for a total of 16 GB of GDDR6. Maximum power consumption seems to be around 329 watts – remember our thoughts in this brief.

The other screenshots concern benchmarks carried out using 3DMark Time Spy Extreme and 3DMark Speed Way. If we refer to the slide, not presented by AMD but received from AMD, the RX 9070 XT should be at the same level as the RX 7900 XT but below the RX 7900 XTX.

If it is indeed an RX 9070 XT, it scores 6345 points in Speed Way and 14591 points in Time Spy Extreme. These results, to be taken with a grain of salt, place this RX 9070 XT between the RTX 4070 Ti and the RX 7900 XTX in Speed Way and between the RX 7900 XTX and above the RTX 4080 Super in Time Spy Extreme.

These results are pretty encouraging if they hold up. It remains to be seen when the cards will be available and what the performance of NVIDIA’s future RTX 5000s will be.
