MAXSUN launches new B860 series of motherboards

The hardware manufacturer MAXSUN has presented its new B860 series of motherboards. This is based on the Intel B860 chipset and offers five models, which are divided into three product lines: Terminator, eSport and Challenger. The series is characterized by modern power supply systems, broad compatibility with current technologies and a new user interface for the BIOS.

Terminator series

The Terminator series comprises the MS-Terminator B860M WIFI and MS-Terminator B860M models. Both variants have a 10 1 1-phase design with 60A Smart Power Stage (SPS), which ensures a stable power supply. The technical features include four DDR5 DIMM slots. These support memory speeds of up to 8800 MHz (OC), which can significantly increase the performance of the system. There are also two USB Type-C ports, which offer extended connectivity options.

eSport series

The eSport series is aimed specifically at users who want to optimize their systems for gaming applications. This series includes the MS-eSport B860M SNIPER WIFI and MS-eSport B860M GANK WIFI models. The SNIPER model has a 10 1 1-phase design with 60A SPS, which ensures a consistent power supply. A USB-C port with a transfer rate of 40 Gbps enables the use of high-speed peripherals. In addition, the model offers two M.2 slots for fast storage solutions and supports DDR5 RAM with speeds of up to 8600 MHz (OC).

The GANK model features an 8 1 1-phase design with 50A DrMOS, which is also designed for stability and efficiency. It has two PCIe expansion slots and ten USB ports for versatile use. Both models in the eSport series support Wi-Fi 6 to ensure fast and stable wireless connections.

Challenger series

The Challenger series includes the MS-Challenger B860M-K model, which is designed for a wide range of applications. It offers a 6 1 1-phase design with 50A DrMOS, which ensures a reliable power supply. The model has two M.2 slots for memory expansion and two PCIe expansion slots. Ten USB ports, including six with a transfer speed of 5 Gbps, enable flexible use of various devices.

PTM UI BIOS

The PTM UI BIOS interface stands for “PC to Mobile” and was developed to simplify system customization. It is based on a card-like structure that enables users to quickly access the most important functions. This eliminates the need to work through complicated menus. The user interface aims to make changes to the system efficient and easy to carry out.
